MISSIONS
Back Creek supports the following local and foreign missions:
His Laboring Few: A national organization based in High Point that witnesses for Christ among those in the motorcycle world and prisons.
Rowan Helping Ministries and Rowan Helping Ministries- West: co-operative community-based ministry to those in crisis or need. We also regularly help in a ‘hands-on’ way with the Western Rowan County branch of this ministry.
Operation Christmas Child- Back Creek Church has supported Operation Christmas Child based in Charlotte, NC for years. In November we collect shoe boxes filled with small gifts to send to children around the world. Our group delivers the shoe boxes to a local collection center. In December a group from Back Creek Church travels to the Charlotte Processing Center to help inspect the individual boxes and pack them into larger boxes for shipping to areas of ministry all over the world.
The Pregnancy Support Center in Salisbury: This ministry works for the saving of unborn lives. It offers counseling, financial and material assistance to women in unplanned pregnancy situations.
West Rowan Bible Teaching Association: an effort to teach Bible in the Mt. Ulla, Cleveland, and Woodleaf Elementary Schools and West Rowan High School.

Back Creek Mexico Mission Team: Since 1991 We have sent many mission teams to Merida, Mexico and have a sister church there, Shalom Presbyterian Church. We have also worked with the San Pablo Seminary and the Blais Pascal Christian School in Merida.
